Data Deletion Options

If you wish to delete your LinkBasket user account or remove data associated with your Facebook / Google sign-in credentials, you can use any of the options detailed below.

Option 1: Remove LinkBasket from Facebook App Settings

If you signed in using Facebook and want to revoke app access and request data removal via Facebook:

1. Open your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
2. In the left sidebar, navigate to Apps and Websites.
3. Find LinkBasket in the list of active connected applications.
4. Click Remove next to LinkBasket.
5. Check the box to request deletion of all activities, posts, or connected data, and confirm.

Option 2: Delete Account In-App

You can request account deletion directly from within the LinkBasket mobile application:

1. Open the LinkBasket app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Go to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll down to Account Settings and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion. Your profile credentials, stored shopping lists, pairing tokens, and encrypted user documents will be immediately purged from our database.

Option 3: Request Manual Data Purge via Email

If you cannot access the mobile app or wish to request a manual deletion of all records associated with your account:

• Send an email to support@linkbasket.shop or privacy@linkbasket.shop.
• Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request - LinkBasket.
• Include your registered email address or display name in the email body.

Our security team will process your request and permanently erase all user profile data, active lists, FCM tokens, and associated logs within 48 hours of verification.

Data Retention & Purging Notice

Upon account deletion, all personal information (including encrypted emails, display names, custom list items, and collaborator pairings) is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered.
